Janice Early-Weas

Janice Early-Weas is the LMH Director of Community Relations and Community Education. She serves as the designated Freedom of Information Officer. She joined LMH in September 1992 and has responsibility for internal and external communications, marketing, advertising, website development and the Customer Information Center, which includes physician referral, patient information and switchboard services. Early-Weas also served as staff liaison to the LMH Endowment Association from 1992 to 1998. Before coming to LMH, she worked in marketing and public relations for Shawnee Mission Medical Center and Saint Joseph Health Center in Kansas City. She completed a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Kansas and held positions as a newspaper reporter, photographer, news editor, managing editor and publisher for seven years. Early-Weas has served on the Advisory Board for Hospice Care in Douglas County and the United Way of Douglas County Campaign Cabinet.
