Mark Praeger, M.D.

Mark Praeger, M.D., was appointed to the LMH Board of Trustees in February 2001. Dr. Praeger has been a general surgeon at LMH since 1977, when he moved to Lawrence after serving 10 years in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. He is a partner with Lawrence Surgery Associates, PA. A graduate of the University of Kansas and the University of Kansas Medical Center, Dr. Praeger serves on the Board of Governors of the Kansas Health Care Stabilization Fund and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Other active memberships include the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the Kansas Medical Society and the American Medical Association. Dr. Praeger is board certified.
