Jennifer Schrimsher, MD, MPH, is an infectious diseases physicians with LMH Health. She joined the health system’s Internal Medicine Group clinic in 2015, and was a pivotal physician leader in its response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Schrimsher is also the deputy county health officer for the Lawrence/Douglas County Public Health department.
Dr. Schrimsher earned her undergraduate degree at Emporia State University. She attended medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where she also earned a master’s degree in public health.
Both her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in infectious diseases were completed at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases.
