Non-Surgical Diagnostic & Treatment Options of Heart Disease Intervention

For heart attack patients, our interventional cardiologists perform non-surgical procedures using a thin, flexible tube called a catheter. Catheter-based procedures (also called percutaneous coronary intervention or PCI) unblock clogged arteries and repair damaged heart vessels. PCI is less invasive than open heart surgery, such as cardiac bypass surgery.
