Non-Surgical Treatment of Heart Disease
LMH Heart Center ranks in the top five percent for heart attack care by the American College of Cardiology. Our interventional cardiologists perform non-surgical, outpatient procedures using a thin, flexible tube called a catheter. Catheter-based procedures (also called percutaneous coronary intervention or PCI) unblock clogged arteries and repair damaged heart vessels. PCI is less invasive than open heart surgery, such as cardiac bypass surgery.
