Sports Performance: Meet our Trainers


Adam Rolf, Licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Athletic Trainer, leads the LMH Sports Performance Training program.LMH Sports Performance Training is a results-driven program led by Adam Rolf, DPT, ATC, CSCS, CGFI. With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a strong background in athletic training, Adam brings unmatched expertise to youth athletes in the community who want to prevent injuries and improve sports performance. His credentials include:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist
  • Certified Athletic Trainer
  • Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist
  • Titleist Certified Golf Fitness Instructor

Adam graduated from Creighton University in 2005 with a major in athletic training, before earning his DPT from Rockhurst University in 2008.

Shortly after graduation, Adam served as the Coordinator of Sports Medicine for Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO. In 2010, Adam partnered with Metro East Tennis Center in Blue Springs, MO, as the Sports Performance Coach, where he provided group and individual physical performance assessments and conducted sport performance training programs.

Adam is a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and credentialed as a Titleist Performance Golf Fitness Instructor (CGFI). He is a sports physical therapist and passionate about sports performance training, athletic injury reduction and community wellness.


Vic White, MS Ed., CHFS, CSCS

Vic White, Exercise Physiologist

Vic White, MS Ed., CHFS, CSCS, brings experience in the field of exercise physiology to LMH Sports Performance. In addition to his work with Sports Performance, he coordinates the Fit for Life and Wellness Works exercise programs at LMH.

He received his Masters in Exercise Physiology from the University of Kansas in 1994. Since then he has worked as a clinical exercise physiologist in the areas of occupational medicine, cardiac rehabilitation, and post rehabilitation exercise programming. He has been with LMH Therapy Services since 2004.

 His credentials include:

  • Certified Health Fitness Specialist (American College of Sports Medicine) 
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (National Strength & Conditioning Association)

Through LMH Sports Performance Vic currently works with youth in the areas of sports performance, athletic injury prevention and coaching. He brings a positive, enthusiastic coaching style when training young athletes and focuses on establishing solid fundamentals for progressive athletic development.

Carol Henney, DPT

With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, a BS in Carol Henney, DPTExercise Physiology, and the experience of playing NCAA division one volleyball, Carol Henney brings a strong background of sports injury rehab and prevention as well as strength and condition to the LMH Sports Performance team.

Carol graduated from Marquette University in 2013 with her BS in Exercise Physiology and continued on to graduate from Marquette University in 2015 with her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Throughout her time at Marquette, she played for the NCAA volleyball team and her senior year earned the honor of National Strength and Conditioning Association All-American.

She was born and raised in southeast Wisconsin and moved to Lawrence after graduation upon receiving this job offer. So far, Carol has really enjoyed getting to know the community of people in Lawrence, especially at LMH.

Carol has a passion from personal experience to help young athletes prevent and rehab injuries, with an end result of excelling at their ultimate goals. One of her favorite concepts is the fact that the main reason athletes workout and lift weights is injury prevention followed by improving their performance.
