If you have trouble falling or staying asleep, or if you're constantly tired during the day, you could have a sleep disorder. Common sleep problems include insomnia, sleep apnea, periodic limb movement disorder and others – if left untreated, they can lead to serious medical problems, including stroke and heart attack.
At the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Sleep Center, we diagnose and treat sleep disorders in a home-like environment. When you come in for testing, you'll spend the night in one of our comfortable rooms. A trained technologist will monitor your sleeping patterns, and a physician who specializes in sleep medicine will analyze your results. Our team of experts will then work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan to help you sleep and feel better.
In addition to treatment services like CPAP or BPAP titrations for obstructive sleep apnea, we provide testing services to determine the cause of your sleeping problems. Our sleep studies include:
- Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT)
- Multiple Wakefulness Tests (MWT)
- Polysomnograms (PSG)
- Split Night Study
