MRI Technologist

MRI - Imaging Services 

The responsibility of the MRI technologist includes empathetic and instructional approach to patient care, the preparation, operation of imaging, collection data using computers, necessary imaging devices and care of instrumentation, patient physical safety and magnetic safety. The MRI technologist performs a variety of exams without and with contrast enhancement at the direction of the Radiologist and MRI protocols. Continuing education is a necessary component in maintaining the skills required performing the duties and tasks of the MRI technologist.

Agreed Hours Per Pay Period: Varies

Schedule/Shift: Variability of Days; Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm and on-call


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • ARRT registered
  • MRI registered or registry eligible
  • One year prior experience required
  • Exceptional customer service skills required

Applicants must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

  • stand, walk, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and use manual dexterity frequently
  • lift/carry and push/pull 25 lbs frequently
  • sit and climb occasionally
  • lift/carry and push/pull 50 lbs occasionally
