Almarie Chalmers to visit LMH's Mario's Closet

Almarie Chalmers at last year's fundraiser for Mario Closet at the Oread Hotel.

Thursday, Oct 25 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Almarie Chalmers, mother of KU basketball legend and current NBA, Miami Heat guard, Mario Chalmers, will be visiting Mario’s Closet at LMH Thursday, Oct 25 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Mario’s Closet was founded by the Mario V. Chalmers Foundation in an effort for Mario to "give back" after losing a childhood friend’s mother to breast cancer.

Almarie, an accomplished speaker, author, and avid tweeter (@SpkLife) will be visiting Mario’s Closet to see how far LMH and Lawrence have taken her family’s vision to help ease the burden of cancer for patients.

Almarie would love for you to come join her at this informal gathering. Drop in for a visit and a free pink breast cancer bracelet. You never know, you may be surprised by what Mario’s Closet has to offer YOU!
