Seven Steps to Stress Mastery – A Basic Stress Management Course

Need help managing the stress in your life? Plan to attend this two-session class that offers basic stress management information. Participants will learn why we need to manage stress, seven stress erasers, how the mind contributes to stress and how to make stress management skills a habit. Registration in advance is required. $20/person.

Better Health

Walktober® is a national walking campaign designed to boost walking and thus overall fitness. The goal is to get 150 minutes a week of physical activity. Aynsley Anderson, RN, Community Education Coordinator and LMH Walktober organizer states "October is an ideal time to start or renew a walking program; the temperatures are moderate and the colors spectacular. Join us! Get out and walk!"
