Medical Oncology

Medical Oncology is the specialty of internal medicine that focuses on the management of solid tumors, such as breast, lung and colon cancer. Management of cancer often involves an inter-disciplinary approach including the efforts of a medical oncologist, (who treats with chemotherapy, immunotherapy and/or targeted therapy) a radiation oncologist and a surgeon.
