Clinical Trials
Cancer clinical trials are
studies sponsored by national research groups, government agencies, such
as the National Institutes of Health, or a pharmaceutical or biotechnology
company. Clinical trials evaluate if a medication or cancer treatment
is safe and effective for a specific type of cancer.
The LMH Oncology Center, through
its affiliation with The Wichita Clinical Oncology program, has the
ability to take part in hundreds of clinical trials.
