Quality reports allow you to view detailed information about the care provided at Lawrence Memorial Hospital (LMH). Some reports provide data that is specific to our hospital; others allow you to compare our performance to national and state averages of other hospitals.
Hospital Compare: a standardized national data repository sponsored by the Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services (CMS). This tool allows you to compare how well LMH cares for patients with certain conditions. These conditions include heart disease, pneumonia and surgical recovery.
Joint Commission: a summary of LMH’s performance on a set of national quality and safety goals as reported by The Joint Commission, a national hospital accrediting organization.
Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers & Systems (HCAHPS): a national standardized survey used to measure patient satisfaction that is reported along with hospital quality reports on Hospital Compare.
Find out more about our quality of care by asking your doctor what he or she thinks about LMH’s performance. Or, if you have specific questions about our quality reports, please call LMH’s Quality Services Department at 785-505-3157.
