Biography

Dr. Koster was born in Hays, Kansas and raised in Great Bend. He graduated from Great Bend High School in 1998 and entered the University of Kansas the same year. In 2002 he graduated with a a degree in Organismal Biology and entered the University of Kansas School of Medicine, graduating in 2006. He attended residency at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City from 2006-2009, and entered practice in Great Bend where he has been for the last 3 years.

Dr. Koster has been heavily involved in the Boy Scouts of America as a Scoutmaster and District Chairman, as well as active in the Odd Fellows and in choirs at church. He also enjoys homebrewing, and has supplied many charity auctions with home brewed beer to raise money for various causes such as CASA and Kans for Kids. He and his wife Aidan have been married since 2002 and have two daughters, Emma and Claire.
