A class for expectant or adoptive parents who want to prepare for caring for a newborn. Topics include understanding your baby’s behaviors and sleep patterns; learning why babies cry and how to comfort them; practicing how to bathe your newborn, umbilical cord care, and the basics of diapering; and a brief introduction to breastfeeding. Parents wanting more information on breastfeeding are encouraged to  enroll in our Breastfeeding Your Baby class. All primary caregivers are invited to attend. Class size is limited, so enroll early.
