LMH Health Foundation academic scholarships

Each spring, LMH Health Foundation offers a number of donor-funded scholarships to employees who have completed at least one year of successful employment at LMH Health (full-time or part-time) and are enrolled in an accredited nursing, healthcare-related or other healthcare-supportive program of study.

Donor gifts to the Foundation also support a limited number of scholarships for children/dependents of LMH Health employees, and to LMH Health volunteers who are enrolled in an accredited post-secondary college, university, trade school or program.

The Foundation is proud to administer the Leslie Riner Memorial Scholarship fund, established by her family, friends and colleagues. This scholarship is available to nursing students at Baker, Washburn and Emporia Universities. Recipients can be employed at LMH Health or in another healthcare setting.

All scholarship funds will be paid to the educational institution and applied to the cost of tuition.

Our 2025 scholarship period has closed. We will re-open this opportunity in the Spring of 2026.

2025 Annual Scholarship Reception

A scholarship reception for recipients, family, friends and colleagues will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, in the Atrium at LMH Health Main Campus. The program will conclude at 3:00 p.m.

Light refreshments to be served after our brief program. All are welcome to join us!

In 2025, LMH Health Foundation awarded more than 50 scholarships totaling over $50,000 to our hardworking employees and students. Gifts from our generous donors make it possible to support these individuals who are furthering their education in healthcare and related fields.
