Maternal Fetal Medicine

The LMH Health Women’s Center, in collaboration with The University of Kansas Health System, offers maternal-fetal medicine care right in your back yard. In 2021, LMH Health announced the entering into a strategic clinical relationship with The University of Kansas Health System. Thanks to this partnership, we are able to provide these great services to the Lawrence community.

Since December of 2021, these services have served as a collaborative effort to see and care for patients with increased difficulties during their pregnancy and provide the highest level of care closest to home.

Caring for our patients with high risk pregnancies

The maternal-fetal medicine team offers services and treatments for conditions like:

  • Autoimmune diseases
  • Chronic hypertension
  • Congenital heart disease
  • Connective tissue disease
  • Gestational diabetes
  • High-risk pregnancy
  • Cervix insufficiency
  • Polycystic kidney disease
  • Pregnancy loss
