When you or someone you love is diagnosed with cancer, you may need support. The licensed social workers at the LMH Health Cancer Center are here to help. We specialize in helping patients and families cope with cancer and overcome barriers during treatment.

Emotional Support

A cancer diagnosis can mean increased stress for patients and families. Our master-level and professionally trained social workers provide emotional support on the following topics:

  • Coping with life changes 
  • Crisis intervention 
  • Grief and loss 
  • Sexuality 
  • Coping techniques
