From newborn care to geriatric medicine and all ages in between, Mt. Oread Family Practice offers complete primary care for the whole family. Our LMH South location enables us to provide a wide range of patient services, including general physicals and wellness exams, lab tests, minor surgery, patient education and more.
We offer extended evening appointments to provide added convenience for our patients:
Monday: 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Thursday and Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Our primary care providers offer same-day appointments. Appointment times may vary according to your physician’s schedule.
Walk-In Appointments Available
Walk-in appointments for minor conditions are available with a nurse practitioner:
Thursdays - Friday: 8:00 a.m., 8:20 a.m., 9:20 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:20 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
We provide a wide range of on-site patient care services. Through our affiliation with Lawrence Memorial Hospital, we offer additional medical, physical therapy and diagnostic services at LMH South, as well as the hospital’s main campus.

Recognized as Patient-Centered Medical Home
The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) announced March 30, 2015, that Mt. Oread Family Practice of Lawrence received NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Recognition for using evidence-based, patient-centered processes that focus on highly coordinated care and long‐term, participative relationships.
To earn recognition, which is valid for three years (October 23, 2017 to October, 23, 2020), Mt. Oread Family Practice demonstrated the ability to meet the program’s key elements, embodying characteristics of the medical home. NCQA standards aligned with the joint principles of the Patient-Centered Medical Home established with the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Osteopathic Association.
