About the Healing Arts Collaborative
The LMH Health Healing Arts Collaborative is a partnership with the Lawrence Arts Center and community artists to promote a beautiful, calm and healing environment.
The Collaborative assembled a collection of artwork by established and emerging local artists and created a gallery space for rotating original local artwork. Some of the permanent collection was commissioned specially for the LMH Health West Campus.
The Healing Arts Collaborative is another way LMH Health fulfills its purpose: “A partner for lifelong health.” We are proud to partner with the Lawrence Arts Center because of their expertise and tradition of community engagement, and together we celebrate this collaboration for wellness, healing, and local artistry. Enjoy the collection, visit the gallery and learn about the featured artists.
Location
The Healing Arts Gallery is located near the Sunflower Café on the second level of the LMH Health West Campus. The gallery is open to the public during regular business hours.
K-10 exit ramp closure affects traffic to West Campus
Southbound K-10 and US 40 (6th Street) exit ramp located near the LMH Health West Campus is closed due to construction.
This will affect patients, staff and visitors traveling south from I-70 on K-10. The ramp leading to Sixth Street will be closed to traffic until early June 2025, as crews undertake work to expand the SLT to four lanes.
Southbound motorists will be directed to travel farther south on the South Lawrence Trafficway (SLT) and exit the road at the Bob Billings interchange.
The change is not scheduled to impact northbound motorists. Motorists on Sixth Street who want to enter the SLT via the southbound entrance ramp also will be able to do so during the construction period. Plans currently only call for the southbound exit ramp to be impacted by the construction.
