COVID Testing

The Emergency Department does not offer routine COVID testing.

COVID testing is provided with a scheduled appointment and physician's order at the LMH Health Drive Thru Testing Center on the LMH Health Main Campus.

If you do not have a primary care physician and are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and do not have a primary care provider, call Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health, 785-843-3060.

If you are experiencing severe respiratory illness, shortness of breath or chest pain, go to the LMH Health Emergency Department for care.

  • About LMH Anticoagulation Clinic

Some patients need medication to reduce the risk of blood clots. If your doctor prescribes anticoagulation therapy to thin your blood, it’s important to have your clotting level checked at regular intervals, so your medication dosage can be adjusted as needed. Our goal is to assist you and your physician in safely and effectively monitoring and managing your anticoagulation drug therapy. Learn more.
