If you’re brought into our emergency room with chest pain, shortness of breath or other heart attack symptoms, you’ll receive an immediate, comprehensive assessment from the area’s most experienced cardiac experts. Quick intervention following a serious heart attack is critical to survival, so LMH Heart Center staffs a 24-hour team of cardiologists, nurses and support specialists. These experts are trained to safely and efficiently implement emergency cardiac care protocol identified by the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
If initial tests indicate that you’re not having a heart attack, you may be moved to our Bob Billings Cardiac Evaluation Center where our multi-disciplinary team of cardiac specialists will monitor your condition. Your care team will communicate with your primary care physician and perform laboratory and cardiac imaging tests to determine the cause of your symptoms and your need for treatment.
