Free Dietitian Appointments Available
On Tuesday, January 10, 3-6 p.m., community members are invited to attend “Ask a Registered Dietitian.” During this event, Lawrence Memorial Hospital Registered Dietitian Patty Metzler will be offering free 15-minute appointments to community members who have questions about general wellness, nutrition or weight loss. Metzler can address a wide variety of topics during the consultation. Some of the topics may include:
- Nutrition and exercise
- Healthy snacking
- Nutrition for Seniors
- Healthy weight loss
- Healthy family meals
What is a Dietitian?
Registered dietitians are food and nutrition experts. These essential health care professionals are responsible for developing food and nutrition programs to treat illness or promote general dietary health.
Consultations are limited to 15 minutes and appointments are required. Registration is available through ConnectCare at 785-749-5800.
