In our final show of the year, Hank talks with our guests about some of the services available to patients at the LMH Health West Campus. Listen in on conversations with:

  • Dr. Adam Goodyear, an orthopedic surgeon with OrthoKansas: Dr. Goodyear talks about Mako robotic surgery, how it can benefit joint replacement patients, and the opportunity to perform total joint replacement surgery at the LMH Health West Campus.
  • Nami Stone, physical therapist, and Zach Sanchez, clinical athletic trainer, LMH Health Therapy Services: A new program offered at the West Campus is RunStrong, offering expertise in running mechanics training, treatment for injured runners and strength and conditioning so they can stay in shape to avoid injury.
  • Kathy Ramirez, APRN with Lawrence Urology Specialists, and Lauren Woodward, physical therapist, LMH Health Therapy Services: A new collaborative service at the West Campus is Sunflower Pelvic Health. Providers from Lawrence OB-GYN Specialists, Lawrence Urology Specialists and LMH Health Therapy have come together to provide treatments for women with pelvic floor disorders. These include conditions such as incontinence, pelvic pain and menopausal symptoms.
