“The biggest reason I went into orthopedics was because it’s really palpable. You can take someone who’s unable to do something – because of pain or a deformity or something else – and you can make that better and see them get better.”
A born and raised Midwesterner, Dr. John Galligan is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle care. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa, followed by his medical degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine.
He completed residency training in orthopedic surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery at the Foundation for Orthopaedic, Athletic and Reconstructive Research in Houston.
With orthopedic help, Dr. Galligan’s patients can see results and go from immobility to mobility. He knows the results of orthopedic treatment are very achievable, and he enjoys seeing his patients heal and improve their quality of life.
