Dr. Heeb is certified by the American Board of Urology and has been in urological practice in Lawrence since 1997. After earning his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1992, he completed a surgical internship at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City and then completed specialty training in urological surgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Heeb was the first private practice physician in the Midwest to use the Greenlight Laser to treat enlarge prostate. He has successfully performed several hundred laser procedures and trained many physicians in the technique. Dr. Heeb's other primary areas of expertise include treatment of female pelvic floor prolapse and urinary incontinence, prostate cancer, kidney stones and general urology. He is a member of the American Urological Association, the South Central Section of the AUA, the American Medical Association, the Kansas City Urological Society and the Douglas County Medical Society.
