She works as a physician assistant with Dr. Neal Lintecum at OrthoKansas, specializing in upper extremities, and has previous exposure to both scientific research and nursing.

“With my many years of academic and working experience, as well as a concentration in orthopedics, I’m confident in providing the care you need,” she said. “You’ll be in good hands when you come to OrthoKansas. We work as a team to provide not only efficient and high-quality care, but most importantly, care that’s personal.”

Philosophy Of Care

“I believe patients should be involved in their own care. Whether that’s questioning the type of injury they have, asking questions their procedure or post-op care, I believe collaboration between patients and providers is the key.”

Very professional

Consulted what I wanted. With PA about need for trigger thumb surgery. I had Linticum perform the same surgery on the other thumb 15 years or so ago, so I knew what I wanted.

I felt very unheard during the visit. This provider did not care that I was in constant pain. I explained that I had been taking over the counter pain medication and it was not working. I explained that I was NOT looking for narcotics but something to help ease the pain that I am experiencing. She refused to help me at all. She ordered a nerve test that is not for another 3 weeks after my appointment. I will NEVER see her again.

Karen was very thorough and patient with us. She took time to answer our many questions as well as talk through all treatment options so we could make a truly informed decision moving forward with recovery.

Karen was thorough. However, she was not a warm person. When one is hurting, it is reassuring to have a kind person respond.
