Biography

Dr. Rangarajan completed his internal medicine residency and pulmonary/critical care fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center.  A Kansas native, Dr. Rangarajan earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.  He is board certified in pulmonary diseases and critical care.

Dr. Rangarajan is an exceptional physician and a caring person. These two factors combine to facilitate a positive appointment and excellent long-term care. Dr. Rangarajan treats me as if I am his only patient. And of course I know, especially during Covid-19, that is far from the reality. When Dr. Rangarajan is meeting with me in an exam room or on telehealth, he provides his full attention. He is always prepared with my current health data and adeptly explains how it compares to previous data points. Dr. Rangarajan is caring, honest, direct, and positive about making my health trajectory better. I feel safe, supported, and cared for by Dr. Rangarajan.

It was a very good experience. Dr. R and his staff got me in quickly, and then got a thoracentesis scheduled for the next day! Since I was in a lot of pain and having trouble breathing, this was greatly appreciated!

Always an excellent experience and excellent care. He is aware of information in the history of my medical record with other LMH physicians and NP's. He listens to what I have to say. I always leave his office with a plan for my health care.
