Biography

Dr. Huerter is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.  He earned his medical degree at the University of Kansas, where he also received a bachelor's degree in psychology.  At the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics, he completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in hematology/oncology.

Dr Luke Huerter has been my oncologist since my diagnosis years ago. I now live almost 2 hours away from his office, but will never switch doctors because he is great and the staff is wonderful!

My visit with Dr. Huerter was a follow up for anemia. I also discussed with him that I was not feeling well that day and that I was having some respiratory chest pains. He was very kind and was concerned to order an x-ray after I assured him it was not a cardiac issue. I was very impressed by his concern & compassion outside of the original reason I was there.

Dr Luke Heurter is top notch. He's an excellent communicator, very thorough and a good listener. He makes sure all your questions are answered and concerns addressed.

They are very friendly and professional from the assistants at the desk to the nurses to Dr. Huerter. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need.

Typically I go to other providers that are closer to my home. I was recommended to Dr. Huerter and it has been a very pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend Dr. Heurter.
