Dr. Luke Huerter earned his medical degree at the University of Kansas, where he also received a bachelor's degree in psychology. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics and a fellowship at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in hematology/oncology. Dr. Huerter is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology and is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Medical Association.
Dr. Huerter wants his patients to know that he values and believes that establishing a personal relationship with his patients and their families is vital to successful cancer treatment. He is dedicated to providing an open line of communication between himself, the team, the patient and their family. Dr. Huerter will always be an advocate for his patient’s cancer care and their overall health.
