September is Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma Awareness month. In recognition of this event, LMH and the Mario’s Closet Committee are co-sponsoring a special program.
Come early at 5:30 pm and join us for light refreshments and exhibits of resources for those with cancer. At 6:30 pm, Julie Tuley, RN, BSN, OCN, Clinical Coordinator of The Oncology Center at LMH, Ajay Tejwani, MD, of the Lawrence Cancer Center will provide a general overview of the diagnosis of and the latest treatment options for leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Rod Barnes, MD, of Lawrence Family Medicine and Obstetrics, will finish the program sharing his personal journey as a cancer survivor. This program is free but advance registration is requested.
