Health Fair

Refreshments and health-related exhibits provided by many LMH departments, LMH medical staff offices, and local not-for-profit health support agencies.

Blood Draw for Blood Chemistry Profile

7:30 -10 a.m.

A comprehensive blood work profile is available for $30 ($40 with PSA for Males) if registered by September 13. After September 13, please register at the fair. The fee will be $40 ($50 with PSA). Results mailed to you in 3-4 weeks. Those who want blood work must fast for 10 hours; water and necessary medications are fine.

To enroll for the discounted blood work, call the LMH Laboratory at 785-505-6179 and ask for a health fair specialist. Please note: in order to receive the discounted fee, all registrations must be processed by the Lab no later than September 14.

Free Health Screenings & Exhibits

7:30 – 10 a.m.

Free health screenings may include height, weight, body mass index, blood pressure, hearing, vision, finger stick fasting blood sugar, skin cancer, bone density, stroke risk, and balance. No advanced registration needed for screenings.

Flu Shots

7:30 – 10 a.m.

Flu shots may be available and provided by Douglas County Visiting Nurses Association to those 18+. Flu shots are dependent on vaccine availability. Please call 785-843-3738 for confirmation. There is a fee or Medicare can be billed. For those 65 and older please bring your Medicare card. Other third-party insurers are not accepted.

Kids Fun and Safety Zone

8 - 10 a.m.

Join us at the Kids Fun & Safety Zone in the west parking lot (weather permitting). Tour safety vehicles, meet firefighters & police officers, get fitted for a bike helmet and much more, all for FREE! Safety professionals will be onsite to answer questions about car seats and booster seats.
