About Benjamin Slane, MD
Dr. Benjamin Slane earned an undergraduate degree in biology from Drake University. He earned a master’s degree in free radical and radiation biology and his medical degree from the University of Iowa. Dr. Slane completed a residency in radiation oncology at the University of Arizona. He is a member of the American Radium Society and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology.

Dr. Slane was very personable and easy to talk to about the radiation treatment and left the decision up to me on whether or not to do it.

Was able to arrange follow up care convient for me. Took extra time and effort to provide care at this visit which prevented another extra trip to Lawrence and contact another physician to explain that we may be late for that appointment. Relieved my anxiety about that. The whole day went smoothly which was a gift.
