Vein Care
At the Lawrence Vein Center, we focus exclusively on vein health, providing personalized care that helps you look and feel your best.
What’s Vein Disease?
Vein disease happens when the veins that carry blood back to your heart aren’t working properly, causing blood to pool in the legs. This can lead to both cosmetic and health concerns. To improve blood flow and reduce symptoms, your doctor may suggest wearing special stockings, exercising more, or offering other treatments.
Risk Factors for Vein Disease
You may be at higher risk for vein disease if you:
- Are obese
- Are pregnant
- Don’t exercise regularly
- Experience hormonal changes
- Have a family history of vein disease
- Have a leg injury
- Smoke
- Stand or sit frequently for long periods
Symptoms of Vein Disease
If you experience any of the following, it’s important to talk to your doctor:
- Pain, swelling, or inflammation in your legs, ankles, feet, or along any vein
- Heavy or tired legs
- Itchy or discolored skin on the legs
Conditions We Treat
Depend on the experts at LMH Health Heart Center to treat:
- Chronic venous insufficiency
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
- Lipedema (enlargement of both legs)
- Lymphedema
- Spider veins (thin, red, web-like blood vessels on the skin)

- Venous skin ulcers
Vein Treatment
We offer nonsurgical and minimally invasive treatments to improve your comfort and appearance. These options have shorter recovery times, less bruising and swelling, and a lower risk of complications.
Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is a quick, nonsurgical procedure to relieve varicose veins. Your doctor will inject a solution into the veins, causing them to fade.
VeinGogh
Treat spider veins and small red moles with VeinGogh, which uses heat to reduce their appearance. Redness after treatment fades within a few hours, and full results take about 4 to 6 weeks.
VenaCure EVLT™
VenaCure EVLT™ treats varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency. It uses a laser to close off problematic veins, improving both your appearance and comfort.
Insurance
Your insurance plan likely covers vein treatment if your doctor says you need it. Check with your insurance company to see if they also cover cosmetic treatment.
