Newborn Nursery
The LMH Health Level II Special Care Nursery provides advanced care for premature and medically fragile newborns, including those with respiratory conditions, feeding difficulties, or the need for IV therapy. Neonatologists are on call around the clock to support the care team in treating infants with special health needs.

Our Newborn Nursery
Our Level II Special Care Nursery is well equipped to care for babies born as young as 34 weeks, including babies with respiratory problems and feeding difficulties or those who require antibiotic and IV therapy. To provide highly specialized care for premature infants and full-term infants with special care needs, we also have neonatologists on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Neonatologists specialize in the medical care of newborns and infants — together with our skilled nursing staff, they provide lifesaving care and high-tech monitoring until babies are stable.
Parents: We want you to be involved in your baby’s care at all times, so you are always welcome in our nursery if your infant is receiving special care.
