Also commonly known as a sonogram, we use fetal ultrasound technology to capture images of your unborn baby, as well as your placenta and amniotic fluid levels.

Similar to a fetal ultrasound, we use the same ultrasound technology to evaluate your pelvic organs.

Abnormal pap smears are fairly common. If this occurs, we will use a colposcope (a high powered microscope) to closely examine your cervix and find the source of your abnormal pap.

We perform biopsies in our office for a wide range of gynecologic conditions.

If a pap smear shows abnormal cell growth, it is sometimes necessary to remove the affected tissue for an accurate microscopic analysis. At Lawrence OB-GYN Specialists, we perform minimally invasive cryotherapy and LEEP procedures when pap smears indicate potential problems. Cryotherapy may be used to remove genital warts as well.

If you’re pregnant, we will monitor your progress, as well as your baby’s growth and development, using a series of prenatal tests and screenings. These tests will determine if you or your baby have an increased risk for developing health problems before or after delivery.
