What Dr. Konie wants patients to know: “It’s said over and over again but it can’t be overstated, one of the most important things is to listen to patients and understand them as individuals. This is done by finding out what they need, what’s important to them, what outcomes they expect, what they know and what they don’t know and making sure they understand everything and get all their questions answered. It really takes a comprehensive approach to understand patients as individuals before we can decide, together, if surgery can help.”

Great
Dr Konie was very nice and listened to my concerns and explanations. He is a good surgeon.
Dr. Konie is a fantastic surgeon. This is the 3rd time I have been under his care. He is thorough, respectful, explains things in ways that are easily understood. He is extremely competent and puts me at ease when surgery is needed knowing I am getting the best care.
Excellent. Dr Konie was very willing to listen to and carefully consider my concerns. He clearly and patiently explained the different surgical options for dealing with my condition. He did not insist on any one particular approach, and offered to refer me for a consultation with another surgeon with particularly rich experience in one of these approaches.
Very pleased, explains things well and not rushed!
Dr. Kunie was helpful and compassionate. He explained everything in detail.
