Dr. Underwood grew up in Oklahoma and earned a bachelor’s degree in health and sports science in 2000 at the University of Oklahoma, where she was an Academic All-American in golf. She completed her medical degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City in 2006. Dr. Underwood finished her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2010 and joined the staff at Austin Regional Clinic in Austin, Texas. She joined Lawrence OB-GYN in 2014 and is Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Provider seemed distracted, focused on other things.
I went in and was told to take my medicine to help with the procedure. But then I had to wait so long the meds had started to wear off. The ultrasound tech was supposed to get everything ready but we had to wait for the doctor. The doctor did the Mirena insertion but forgot the scissors. I had to wait while in pain for them to leave and find scissors.
