About Patrick “Cole” McGregor, MD

Patrick “Cole” McGregor, MD, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and a clinical fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center-Campbell Clinic in Memphis.
“Growing up with a surgeon father, I was able to see the positive impact he had on our community. I chose to pursue medicine in order to help people get back to doing what they love.”
McGregor specializes in foot and ankle orthopedics. He believes that motion is the key to enjoying life. His goal is to work with patients to find both non-surgical and surgical options that will help get them back to doing what they love.
Outside of work, McGregor enjoys chasing around his three children and spending time with his wife, Liz. On the weekends he can be found cheering on the Jayhawks and Chiefs

My philosophy of care is to communicate openly with patients about their options to provide them with a solution that is tailored to their needs.

Patient Reviews

I honestly didn't have any questions. Once he saw the xrays. He was very confident about about what the diagnosis was. I knew I would need surgery. He was able to tell me what my injuries were. He was very confident.

Dr McGregor thoroughly explained my condition, and his recommendation for correction. When I asked about a specific alternate corrective procedure, he agreed that the alternative procedure was a viable alternative, but referred me to a colleague who had more experience with that procedure.

Outstanding

Dr. McGregor listens carefully and responded to each of my concerns and questions. He provides options when appropriate and recommendations for the most desirable outcomes.

He was excellent, but I would say a little hurried

I came away feeling he was clearly focused on the milde plantar fasciitis and didn't give much information about the other issues the MRI showed.

They were very helpful and friendly I felt at ease.

I have had great success with Dr. McGregor. He has completed a pretty serious surgery on my left foot and been extremely helpful with the recovering process, both checking in regularly and dealing with issues or concerns immediately with care and effective solutions. I would definitely give him 10 stars and will recommend him to everyone whom he could possibly help like he has helped me.

Too little to fast

Good.
