Miller is a family nurse practitioner and is an active member of the Kansas Advance Practice Nurses Association, American Nurses Association and the Kansas Nurses Association.
“The enjoyment that I get from being a nurse practitioner is from the interactions with my patients on a day-to-day basis.”
Miller enjoys finding out about her patients, learning about them and growing with them. Before joining LMH Health Primary Care – South Iowa Street, Miller worked at an Urgent Care center in Topeka. Jeanette also worked in Topeka and Onaga, Kansas as a registered nurse.

“My philosophy of nursing care is taking care of the patient as a whole, not just a part or section of the patient. I am interested in the whole body and how it works together. Family practice is a specialty and it is the heart and soul of why I work.”

Great!

She cared, listen, and respond the next with the information concerning my heal.the issues.

Listened to me and was very friendly and patient.

The experience was good.

Very good but a little short on explaining new medicines prescribed

Felt like I was an inconvenience and wasn't really being listened to when describing how I was feeling

We started of with a miscommunication, which I think distracted me from sharing all my symptoms and questions. Miscommunications happen, but I would have liked a more discussion of symptoms, especially what was bothering me the most.

It was a horrible experience

Felt like provider did not really listen to my concerns or look at my medical history until I left the office. They seemed to believe everything could be cured with nasal lavages and salt water gargles.

She was efficient but her bedside manners were lacking.
