While a student at Yale, she was granted an Honors Thesis award and recognized as a first author on a publication.

“With my many years of academic and working experience, as well as a concentration in orthopedics, I’m confident in providing the care you need,” she said. “You’ll be in good hands when you come to OrthoKansas. We work as a team to provide not only efficient and high-quality care, but most importantly, care that’s personal.”

“I believe patients should be involved in their own care. Whether that’s questioning the type of injury they have, asking questions their procedure or post-op care, I believe collaboration between patients and providers is the key.”

I've seen Karen before and she always is smiling, friendly and explains things. Takes her time and makes sure I understand what she is doing or could do in future

Very polite and concerned.

Good, she did a follow up of my surgery, had my stitches out.

Excellent!

Karen was on time. She made sure I understood how to take care of the scar after surgery. She took time to examine another area of concern of mine. She answered all of questions. I certainly appreciate Karen's time and professionalism.

She was very informative and very kind in her care.

Very professional and courteous

She was very nice and answered all my questions I had for her.
