Jessica received her Bachelor of Athletic Training from Kansas State University and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She is a certified athletic trainer and physical therapist and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Kansas Physical Therapy Association. Jessica has clinical experience in the outpatient setting, treating post-surgical and non-operative orthopedic conditions, vestibular and neurologic disorders.

Alexander earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Physiology from Kansas State University while interning with K-State Athletics strength and conditioning. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Kansas Medical Center while working in private-sector sports performance training.
Prior to joining LMH Health, Alexander completed his sports residency with UW Health and Badger Athletic Performance Lab, where he performed ACL-reconstruction and quadriceps performance research on University of Wisconsin athletes. After residency, he continued working at UW Health, specializing in post-operative knee rehab, while also serving as the physical therapist and emergency medical provider for a semi-professional basketball team, the Madison Mavericks. 

Justin graduated from Bethany College with a degree in athletic training. He worked as an athletic trainer at Bethany and Tabor Colleges prior to attending Wichita State University, where he earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2009. Following graduation, Justin worked in Wichita and Topeka and served as an adjunct faculty member at Wichita State until 2016. He has focused his physical therapy practice in the orthopedic setting and has an interest in hands on manual therapy, exercise and sports injury prevention and management.

Andrea is a 2004 graduate of The University of Kansas, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Education and a 2007 graduate of The University of Kansas Medical School where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has experience in both acute care and outpatient settings, with her area of interest being orthopedics. She specializes in functional movement assessment and analysis and has an interest in treating running injuries.

Mitchell is a 2012 graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor of science in education, as well as a minor in business. He graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015. Mitchell has experience in both acute care as well as outpatient settings. His main interests include injury prevention, movement assessment, and return to sport; he also has certification in functional movement screening.

Cheyenne earned her bachelor's degree in Health and Human Performance from Fort Hays State University, and her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Saint Mary. While attending Fort Hays, Cheyenne was on the track team as a pole vaulter and recently worked as an assistant track & field coach at Hays Middle School.

Cody is a graduate of Ottawa University where he earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science. He earned his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Saint Mary.

Renee received her undergraduate degree in exercise science from the University of Kansas where she received a full athletic scholarship for tennis. She earned a master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and an MBA from Baker University. Renee is certified in pilates and barre exercise and is also certified as a Lean Six Sigma black belt. Renee serves as the student program coordinator for LMH Health Therapy and Wellness. She has an interest in wellness and preventative medicine. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, spending time with her dog and traveling.

Dan Lorenz isn’t only the Director of Sports Medicine at LMH Health OrthoKansas, he’s the only fellowship-trained physical therapist in sports physical therapy in Lawrence and the Kansas City metro.
Previously the owner and Director of Physical Therapy for Specialists in Sports and Orthopedic Rehabilitation (SSOR) in Overland Park, Dan earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences and a master’s in physical therapy from Grand Valley State University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, Florida.
He also has a wealth of experience in the professional sports world. Dan worked as an athletic training intern for the Chicago White Sox; an assistant athletic trainer and physical therapist for the Kansas City Chiefs; and has served as a rehabilitation consultant for many local sports teams including Sporting Kansas City, Kansas City Chiefs and Mavericks, as well as local colleges including Mid-America Nazarene University and University of Missouri-Kansas City. He was also recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as the 2018 Sports Medicine/Rehabilitation Professional of the Year.

Danny is a graduate of South Dakota State University, where he earned a bachelors degree in athletic training. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University and completed sports residency training at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Danny is a board-certified Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) interested in treating athletes involved in both field and court sports.
He is actively involved with the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy (AASPT), completing research reviews for the Sports Performance Enhancement special interest group, and serves on the Board of Directors for the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) - Kansas Chapter. Danny also leads research efforts for physical therapy at LMH Health, emphasizing return-to-sport testing and decision making.

Tyrel is a 2011 graduate of the University of Kansas, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Education and was a member of the University of Kansas men’s basketball team from 2007-2011, which included the 2008 National Championship team. He is a 2015 graduate of the University of Kansas Medical School where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Tyrel has experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings and has a special interest in sports performance and injury prevention in young athletes.

David graduated from Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's degree in athletic training and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Before joining OrthoKansas, David was an athletic trainer for rural high schools in Western Kansas. He has also worked for Overland Park Regional Medical Center as an athletic trainer specializing in soccer, football, and hockey with vast experience in the diagnosis and treatment of concussions and musculoskeletal injuries sustained during athletic activity. David is experienced in sports medicine, emphasizing on injury prevention in athletes, and also has a passion for orthopedics.

Deva received his Physical Therapy Assistant degree in 2009 and his Bachelor of Health Service Administration degree in 2011 from Washburn University. He recently completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in May 2014 and is Board Certified through the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts. He has experience in both acute care and outpatient settings and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and an APTA Sports Section Member. His specialties include orthopaedic and sports medicine, movement assesment and analysis, and musculoskeletal injuries.

Elizabeth earned her bachelor’s degree from Illinois College and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University. She is trained in dry needling and is an emergency medical responder. Elizabeth has special interests in lower extremity sports-related and musculoskeletal injuries. 

Garrett joined the LMH Health family following his graduation from the University of Kansas in 2013, where he was a member of the cheer team while earning a bachelor’s degree in education. While continuing to work at LMH, Garrett earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in 2017.
Garrett specializes in the cervical and upper cervical spine and has interests in sports rehabilitation and working with overhead athletes. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and is also certified as a Manual Physical Therapist by the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy.

Genaro is a graduate of Washburn University, where he received a bachelor's degree in kinesiology. He earned his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth.

Watson is a 1998 graduate of Washburn University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and a 2001 graduate of The University of Kansas Medical School where she received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Watson previously worked for Mount Carmel Regional Medical Center in Pittsburg, Kansas where she worked in inpatient and outpatient clinic and hospital settings as well as serving as the staff Athletic Trainer for the area high schools since 1998.  With a strong background in manual therapy, her specialties include orthopaedic, neuro, spine and musculoskeletal injuries.

Hilary earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from Indiana Wesleyan University and a master's degree in exercise physiology from the University of North Carolina. She earned her doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While attending Indiana Wesleyan, Hilary was an NCCAA Scholar Athlete in Track and Cross Country from 2006-2008. 

Jamie received her bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and a master's degree in occupational therapy from Rockhurst University. She is a board-certified hand therapist.
