Orthopedic Same-Day Care

Same-Day Care. Get Seen by an Orthopedic Specialist. Get On With Your Life. When something goes wrong with a bone, joint, or muscle, most people do one of two things: wait days for an appointment or spend hours in the urgent care. LMH Health OrthoKansas Same-Day Care is a better option — quick access to orthopedic specialists, right here in Lawrence, no appointment required.

We handle the imaging. We handle the casting and splinting. You get an expert diagnosis and a clear plan, all in one visit.

The Only Place in Lawrence for Same-Day Visit Casting and Splinting

If your injury needs to be immobilized, OrthoKansas Same-Day Care is the only place in Lawrence where you can walk in and have it cast or splinted on the spot — by an orthopedic specialist, not a general urgent care provider. No driving to Kansas City. No multi-stop process. Everything handled in one visit.

What We Treat

OrthoKansas Same-Day Care is for non-emergent bone, joint, and muscle injuries — fractures, sprains, dislocations, sports injuries, and reinjuries of prior conditions.

If you are experiencing severe trauma, uncontrolled bleeding, chest pain, a head injury, or any life-threatening emergency, please go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.

How It Works

If you have an acute injury, stop by Monday–Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. and be seen by an orthopedic specialist.

We order your imaging. X-rays are handled on site. No leaving and coming back.

You leave with a plan. Casting, splinting, bracing or a referral for follow-up care — whatever your injury needs, handled before you go.

What It Costs

Billed as a standard office visit. Lower co-pay, same orthopedic expertise. We accept most major insurance plans. Call us before you come in if you have questions about coverage at 785-843-9125.
